About Me

Shik’éí dóó shidine’é (my family and my people, friends) Shí éí Tess Robinson yinishyé (I am called Tess Robinson) Dibéłzhíní nishłį́ Kinlichii'nii bashishchiin (I am Blacksheep born for Red House). Todích'íí'nii dashicheii Tábaahá dashinalí (Bitter Water is my maternal grandfather and Edgewater is my paternal grandfather) Ákót’éego diné asdzáán nishłį́ (In this way, I am a Navajo woman).  Ahéhee’ (I am grateful!)

My lending experience began with my first home purchase as a "1st Generation Native American Home-Buyer" in 2001.   In 2002, I began my lending path as a junior processor, then lead processor and have enjoyed originating since. I enjoy each client I work with to bring into fruition their dreams with a customized home loan.  Experience and resources allows me a very diverse portfolio of loan programs to consider.  

I am also called #OFFGRIDLENDER as I travel and work remotely.  Recently, I have attended the Earthship school in Taos and since put focus on more self-sustaining offgrid homes and living.  I would like to focus on lending with Native Americans on Tribal Indian land where I can use the Section 184 construction home loan. Me and my husband are now homesteading to create a home offgrid.  I will document this journey on my Instagram @nativelender_teamblacksheep. 

Team Blacksheep is my family clan and the team is me and my children.  I have two son's who are Realtors in the Phoenix Metro area and soon my daughter will join my lending team.

We have loan options to fit every situation, from down payment assistance programs for first-time homebuyers to government-sponsored programs for military families and rural residents or jumbo loans in high-cost markets.

Conventional

A Conventional loan is a great option if you have an average to high credit score and little debt. This allows you to take advantage of lower interest rates. With these types of loans, you have the option to put 20% down, which eliminates the need for private mortgage insurance (PMI) and saves you money. If you don’t have a large down payment saved up though, don’t worry. We have Conventional loan options for down payments as low as 3%.

If you’re purchasing your first home, you have options to buy without saving a full down payment. Down payment assistance (DPA) programs can help with your down payment in the form of a loan or grant that is often forgiven over time.
FHA

FHA

If you’re looking to buy on a tight budget, these loans are a great option. It’s easier to qualify for FHA loans because they carry lower credit score requirements and lower down payment options starting at 3.5% down. They’re also insured by the Federal Housing Administration (FHA) and only issued by FHA-approved lenders.
