Ben McElroy

I have been lending money for over 10 years. In addition to my current role as a licensed Mortgage Loan Officer I have held titles including Branch Manager, Production Solutions Manager, and VP of Retail and Small Business Lending. My approach to mortgage lending is rooted in a mission driven desire to leave the world a better place than I found it.

I am currently a Raleigh resident but my roots stretch far. NC has a diverse culture and I have been privileged to experience much of what our great state has to offer. Growing up I lived in Wilmington, the Outerbanks, Pinehurst, Rocky Mount, and Chapel Hill. Professionally I was responsible for boots on the ground activities across the entire state and am intimately acquitted with both our cities and small towns. With these many connections I am familiar with the communities I lend in from the mountains to the coast and might be able to share a great dinner spot along the way.

When not working I enjoy spending time with my wife, Samantha, friends, and family. My hobbies and interests are quite diverse. I am a passionate outdoor enthusiast so you can often find me backpacking the Smoky Mountains or paddling our waterways. When I’m not outside you’ll find me singing with various groups, or in my garage restoring antique wood furniture.

My family and I believe in living an active spiritual life where faith is the foundation of all that we do. My philosophy is simple, in all facets of life, find Passion – Perseverance – Purpose. If you focus on these things, you will live a meaningful, joyful, and abundant life. This drives the experience I bring to mortgage financing as I seek to understand a client’s long- and short-term financial goals and not only work with them to achieve these goals but create an experience that far exceeds the average.
