I have been a licensed Mortgage Loan Officer for 15 years.  In my career I have held titles of Branch Manager, Regional VP, and Area Sales Manager.  Today, I am a Producing Area Manager of a great local team of professionals in NC.  In addition to originating loans and helping families and investors finance their home purchases I also assist, train, and coach other Loan Officers and recruit prospective new team members helping them grow and 
flourish at Guild Mortgage.
I am a fourth generation Sanford NC native with deep roots in the local community.  I raised my family here and followed in the footsteps of my parents and grandparents giving back to the local community by serving on numerous boards, and non- profits in and around the Sandhills and Triangle areas. I was raised in a small business family. After graduation college I joined my father’s company in the Welding Gas and Industrial Supply business eventually buying the business upon my father’s retirement. In 2007 I successfully sold it to Fortune 500 Corporation Prax Air, now operating as Airgas.  This business experience made me more than equipped to foray into the Personal Finance world of Mortgage and in 2009 I became a Loan Officer for a local, Raleigh NC based mortgage company. I also followed in my grandfather’s footsteps and became Mayor of Sanford for 9 years as he had done so in the 1960’s. Community and helping people have always been a calling for me and my family.
Today, I have assembled a highly productive mortgage team of wonderful professionals who all share the same goal and vision of serving families, helping manage and structuring their debt, and creating wealth thru home ownership. We pride ourselves on quality and supporting our referral partners in ways others may not.  I have been honored to consistently be named a Top 1% Loan Originator in the United States by Mortgage Executive Magazine and the Scotsman Guide, leading publishers of Mortgage news and real estate. 
I proudly serve the Central North Carolina area including Cities around Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, Apex, Cary, Sanford, Pittsboro, Fayetteville, Hope Mills, Aberdeen, Southern Pines, and Pinehurst to name a few while our company is licensed to originate in 49 states. My 25 years of business experience, in-depth understanding of the mortgage industry, ability to solve problems, and connect people to the right resources makes me a superior choice to work with.
When not working I enjoy spending time with my wife and two sons, friends, and family. I am a passionate outdoor enthusiast. Saltwater fishing, hunting, boating, dogs, and music are some of my favorite pursuits. My family and I believe in living an active spiritual life and not just existing.
My philosophy is very simple. If you do the right thing, do your very best, and show people you care about them they will continue to come back to you. I have lived this simple motto my entire adult life personally and professionally. My approach is to understand a client's long- and short-term financial goals and work with them to achieve these goals while helping them prepare for and understand their future needs regarding obtaining a mortgage loan.
