Cliff Yang

Cliff Yang is a Mortgage Loan Officer with Guild Mortgage in Columbia, South Carolina, helping homebuyers throughout South Carolina, North Carolina and Georgia. With a background in banking, sales and personal training, Cliff believes great service is never one-size-fits-all. He specializes in helping first-time homebuyers understand their options, ask questions confidently and navigate the mortgage process without making it more complicated than it needs to be.

Cliff approaches each client's situation with a problem-solving mindset, combining thoughtful guidance with an adaptable, personalized approach. Whether someone needs extra education, a straightforward answer or a little more hands-on guidance, he meets borrowers where they are and helps create a game plan built around their goals.

Outside of mortgages, Cliff is an active dad of three who can usually be found working out, practicing jiu-jitsu, playing tennis or golf, cooking, coaching or cheering from the sidelines at one of his kids' games. He's also competitive enough to take a game of chess, Scrabble or Monopoly seriously. His playlist can jump from rap to reggae to string-band music, which may be the best proof that there's no one-size-fits-all approach to Cliff either.

At the center of it all is family. Cliff's biggest motivation is building the best possible future for his kids; and he brings that same long-term perspective to helping his clients take their next step toward homeownership.
