About Me

Having joined the Guild Mortgage family in 2020 and now returning after life’s changes, I am thrilled to assist clients with their home financing needs. Navigating the process of buying or refinancing a home can be overwhelming, but I am here to make it understandable and comfortable for you. Effective communication is essential, and I will guide you through every step, from our initial interaction to the closing table and beyond.

Beyond work, my husband and I, both Montanans, take pride in raising our two daughters. We’ve overcome challenges, including my husband’s victory over sarcoma cancer. Technology allows me to manage multiple tasks efficiently, and we enjoy spending summers at Noxon Reservoir, hosting barbecues with friends and tackling home improvement projects.

It would be my privilege to assist you in securing financing for your first home, a vacation property, your forever home, or an investment property. Additionally, if you’re considering a refinance, whether for debt consolidation or a home improvement project, I have experience and access to various programs, including Conventional, USDA, FHA, Manufactured homes, Jumbo, and HeLoans. We have loan options to fit every situation, from down payment assistance programs for first-time homebuyers to government-sponsored programs for military families and rural residents or jumbo loans in high-cost markets.



A Conventional loan is a great option if you have an average to high credit score and little debt. This allows you to take advantage of lower interest rates. With these types of loans, you have the option to put 20% down, which eliminates the need for private mortgage insurance (PMI) and saves you money. If you don’t have a large down payment saved up though, don’t worry. We have Conventional loan options for down payments as low as 3%.

If you’re purchasing your first home, you have options to buy without saving a full down payment. Down payment assistance (DPA) programs can help with your down payment in the form of a loan or grant that is often forgiven over time.


If you’re looking to buy on a tight budget, these loans are a great option. It’s easier to qualify for FHA loans because they carry lower credit score requirements and lower down payment options starting at 3.5% down. They’re also insured by the Federal Housing Administration (FHA) and only issued by FHA-approved lenders.

Dani Hallam was so professional and friendly. She made the entire re-financing our home a positive and enjoyable experience. She is very knowledgeable, presented us many options and listened to all of our wants and needs. Dani inspired so much trust from both myself and my husband. During the process we both tested postive for Covid and we kept having to put off finalizing the re-finance. Dani stuck by our side, got us the extensions needed every time we had to put it out further and was so patient and concerned for us both.
