As a mortgage loan officer in Vancouver, WA, I have been dedicated to the financial industry since 2011. My passion for helping people achieve their financial goals and my commitment to excellence led me to pursue a career in the mortgage industry after proudly serving in the United States Army. I specialize in VA loans, ensuring that veterans and active-duty service members receive the best possible mortgage solutions. Additionally, I have extensive experience assisting first-time homebuyers navigate the complexities of purchasing their first home, and I offer expert guidance on refinance options to help clients optimize their financial situations. 

Being a father and veteran, I bring a unique perspective to my role as a mortgage loan officer. I understand the importance of financial stability and security, and I am committed to helping my clients achieve their dreams of homeownership. We have loan options to fit every situation, from down payment assistance programs for first-time homebuyers to government-sponsored programs for military families and rural residents or jumbo loans in high-cost markets.

Conventional

Conventional

A Conventional loan is a great option if you have an average to high credit score and little debt. This allows you to take advantage of lower interest rates. With these types of loans, you have the option to put 20% down, which eliminates the need for private mortgage insurance (PMI) and saves you money. If you don’t have a large down payment saved up though, don’t worry. We have Conventional loan options for down payments as low as 3%.
FHA

FHA

If you’re looking to buy on a tight budget, these loans are a great option. It’s easier to qualify for FHA loans because they carry lower credit score requirements and lower down payment options starting at 3.5% down. They’re also insured by the Federal Housing Administration (FHA) and only issued by FHA-approved lenders.
VA

VA

If you’re an active member of the military or a veteran, a VA loan can help you save money with no down payment and lower closing costs. VA loans also have lower interest rates, meaning you’ll save money over the life of your loan. A VA loan is a program created and guaranteed by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) specifically for eligible military veterans, service members and their spouses.

Chris came highly recommended by a friend, and now I understand why. He provided all the information I needed and was always accessible. Whenever I had a question, I could easily reach out to him. If he wasn’t immediately available, he promptly sent a text with a time he’d be free to focus on my concerns. My real estate agent praised Chris, and the title company commented on how smoothly everything went. Compared to the two other mortgage companies I’ve worked with, Guild made this process seamless and required much less effort on my end. Chris even lowered my interest rate after I prequalified. He proactively monitored market rates and invested his own resources to secure a better deal. I was thrilled when he informed me of the new numbers! We initially prequalified at just over 7%, but by closely watching the market, Chris secured a rate under 7%, saving us $1,200 in the first year. Additionally, Guild bought down our rate by one percent, saving us another $2,400 in that first year. Chris came highly recommended from a friend of mine and now we know why. I received all the information that I needed and anytime I had a question I was able to reach out and contact him easily! If he wasn’t available, immediately, he quickly sent me a text message with a time that he would be to make sure he had the ability to focus on my questions. When speaking to my real estate agent, she readily complemented, Chris. When speaking to the title company, they commented on how smooth things went! With the two other mortgage companies, I’ve worked with guild, made this smooth, and it seemed like much less work on my end. Chris was able to lower my rates more than he already did by spending money out of his own pocket. I was so glad when he came back to me with the new numbers! We prequalified I just over 7% and by Chris watching the market and seen a lower rate. He qualified us under 7% which saved us $1200 for the first year, when they bought down our rate, another one percent it saved us another $2400 over that first year as well! I compared other rates just to make sure this was accurate and I was so excited to see the money that Kris saved us!
