Now entering his 12th year at Guild Mortgage, Paul combines his drive for success with his experience, dedication, market knowledge, and compassion for helping others achieve their goals. He deeply understands the intimacy of the loan qualifying process and that every client's situation is unique. Paul listens carefully to align with his customers financial goals and will take as much time as necessary to educate and empower them towards making informed decisions. Outside of Paul's passion for serving the needs of his clients and real estate partners, you will find him either at home enjoying his loving family and three dogs, caring for his young son (born in 2016), or immersed in the outdoors with one of his many recreational activities. Paul's family moved to the Seattle area with Boeing in 1938 and are extremely proud of their Pacific Northwest roots. Paul is a graduate of Bellevue High School and holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Washington (Class of 1996).

We have loan options to fit every situation, from down payment assistance programs for first-time homebuyers to government-sponsored programs for military families and rural residents or jumbo loans in high-cost markets.



A Conventional loan is a great option if you have an average to high credit score and little debt. This allows you to take advantage of lower interest rates. With these types of loans, you have the option to put 20% down, which eliminates the need for private mortgage insurance (PMI) and saves you money. If you don’t have a large down payment saved up though, don’t worry. We have Conventional loan options for down payments as low as 3%.

If you’re purchasing your first home, you have options to buy without saving a full down payment. Down payment assistance (DPA) programs can help with your down payment in the form of a loan or grant that is often forgiven over time.


If you’re looking to buy on a tight budget, these loans are a great option. It’s easier to qualify for FHA loans because they carry lower credit score requirements and lower down payment options starting at 3.5% down. They’re also insured by the Federal Housing Administration (FHA) and only issued by FHA-approved lenders.

Paul and his team helped my partner and I through a complicated home refinancing and cash-out. We hit some unexpected bumps in the process that required some creative thinking, but in the end we accomplished our goal. Refinancing at this time was out of necessity and not something I would unilaterally decide to do given the current state of interest rates, but I was happy to have Paul's expertise and personal guidance throughout the process.
