For over 25 years, Matt James has been a key figure in real estate. He spent 12 years in brokerage and investment, serving investors, builders, and developers. He then led 2 of Virginia’s top real estate brokerages for 6 years. Seeking new challenges, Matt consulted for mortgage banks for 4 years, gaining a comprehensive industry view.

Now, 5 years into his mortgage banking role, Matt uses his expertise to empower borrowers and shape industry teams. His passion for homeownership, investing, and his entrepreneurial spirit offer unique value to clients, partners, and teams.

Cher was amazing with helping once I was able to get her on the phone. She went above and beyond to help gather the information needed while we were in South Africa. I would suggest to provide better guidance when trying to pull transactions from sources like Venmo and new accounts. This was the one thing that really tripped us up in getting information over due to the nature of the accounts and what access was actually had towards statements. Also, if you would provide up front everything you may think you would need I feel that would help guide clients on what to expect and can get things around quickly and over to you all in a timely manor. Our case was different since we were out of the country when all this took place but had we had that info before leaving we could have provided it prior to departure.
