I came to Lyndsay after two failed attempts with a previous lender and realtor to try to purchase a house in this harsh housing market. Right off the bat I know that I'd chosen right to ask for her opinion and eventually, to put in another application with Guild as my lender and her as my loan officer, because one of the first things she'd told me was "Always trust your gut. If it's not me, okay that's okay, if it is, great! lets work together. If it's another lender, then that's also great! But always trust your gut when it comes to choosing your lender and your home, because with such a big decision, you want to me 100% happy with the choice you made" and it was the complete opposite of all the other spiels I was given by other lenders. They'd all tried to sell me on something or their company, but Lyndsay gave me full autonomy to ask all the questions I needed, discuss any doubts I had about the process and finally, strategize my next steps. After my application with her, everything was a breeze. She gave me three options of preliminary numbers of what my mortgage would look like: amazing! I know what to expect, even if its just an estimate. Her team was prompt, from financial verification, underwriting, and they were really flexible and understanding when I had no control over some documents that I needed to provide and even helped me figure out a way to write a letter of explanation to continue my loan process. Lyndsay also helped me find another realtor because my previous one wasn't working out - and thank god I went with her recommendation because we were able to close in 10-15 days! Way ahead of schedule so I have more time to pack my apartment, move in slowly little by little and not be so rushed! Everything was seamless, she was always available to answer any questions and calmed my nervousness throughout the process. I learned 10X more working with her and her team than I ever would've done had I stayed with my first lender that was making me do all the heavy lifting. 1000 recommend anyone looking for a home to talk to Lyndsay first! She'll be honest, straightforward and strategic!!
