About me

I am a Loan Officer at Guild Mortgage, with a strong foundation in the mortgage industry. My journey began in 2021 when I joined the industry as a Loan Partner for Team Silverstein. In this role, I gained invaluable experience in the pre-approval process and became well-versed in the various stages of a loan application, from initial submission to final closing. This hands-on experience laid the groundwork for my smooth transition into my current role as a Loan Officer.

A native of Alexandria, Virginia, I've had the privilege of witnessing the growth and evolution of the community I call home. I've lived here my whole life and currently reside in Old Town. I also attended St. Stephen's and St. Agnes School, where I was a “lifer” throughout my education. This strong local connection allows me to serve clients with a deep understanding of the area's unique dynamics.

My approach to lending is built around clear and consistent communication, but what sets me apart is my around-the-clock availability. Whether it's weekdays or weekends, I offer flexibility to meet the needs and demands of my clients, providing them with the transparency and responsiveness they need throughout the entire process. I understand that securing a loan can be daunting, and I prioritize being accessible and ensuring that my clients feel supported and informed every step of the way.

Though I've transitioned into the role of Loan Officer, I'm fortunate to have my team members as valuable resources throughout the process. Scott Silverstein, a fellow UVA graduate, continues to be an important mentor and support in navigating complex scenarios, bringing a wealth of experience as a seasoned Loan Officer. Additionally, I rely on James Fitzgerald, known as the "loan rolodex," who is an incredibly knowledgeable asset when it comes to contract-to-close processes. James' expertise ensures that our team stays aligned, and he is always available to provide insights that keep every transaction running smoothly.

Before entering the mortgage industry, I attended the University of Virginia, where I was a member of the UVA hockey team. This experience taught me the importance of teamwork, discipline, and resilience-values that I apply to my work every day. Whether I am assisting a first-time homebuyer or helping an experienced investor with a new loan, I strive to bring those same qualities to my role, ensuring that I am always there for my clients and my team.

I look forward to continuing my work at Guild Mortgage, helping clients achieve their homeownership goals with professionalism, integrity, and a genuine commitment to their needs. My mission is to make the loan process a positive, seamless experience for everyone I work with.

Let’s find the right home loan for you

We have loan options to fit every situation, from down payment assistance programs for first-time homebuyers to government-sponsored programs for military families and rural residents or jumbo loans in high-cost markets.

Conventional

Conventional

A Conventional loan is a great option if you have an average to high credit score and little debt. This allows you to take advantage of lower interest rates. With these types of loans, you have the option to put 20% down, which eliminates the need for private mortgage insurance (PMI) and saves you money. If you don’t have a large down payment saved up though, don’t worry. We have Conventional loan options for down payments as low as 3%.
Jumbo

Jumbo

Jumbo loans offer larger loan amounts than most other loan programs. These loans are a great option if you’re looking to buy a more expensive home and have a great credit score and strong financial situation.
VA

VA

If you’re an active member of the military or a veteran, a VA loan can help you save money with no down payment and lower closing costs. VA loans also have lower interest rates, meaning you’ll save money over the life of your loan. A VA loan is a program created and guaranteed by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) specifically for eligible military veterans, service members and their spouses.

All loans are subject to underwriter approval; terms and conditions may apply. Subject to change without notice.
