JD Teitelman

With almost 20 years in mortgage lending, JD brings a processor and underwriting mindset to every loan he originates, allowing him to anticipate issues before they arise and keep transactions running smoothly. He combines highly personalized service with cutting-edge technology to create a seamless, transparent experience for both clients and agent partners.
 
Originally from Connecticut, JD came to the DMV for college and never left. A proud double graduate of American University (BA ’07, MA ’10), he fully embraces the “Once an Eagle, Always an Eagle” motto. He caught the travel bug while studying abroad in Belgium and went on to achieve his goal of visiting all seven continents in 2015. JD is now working toward visiting 100 countries, (currently at 73) with a special focus on exploring local cultures through their food.
 
When he’s not talking mortgages or planning his next trip, you’ll likely find JD binge-watching Netflix, cheering on the Washington Nationals, or at a DC Defenders game—and always looking for ways to rack up more airline miles and hotel points.
 
JD is an active member of REALTOR® Association of Prince William (PWAR), Greater Capital Area Association of REALTORS® (GCAAR) and the Northern Virginia Association of REALTORS® (NVAR), where he is a CE instructor and has volunteered on multiple committees. He also serves as District Governor for Maryland and DC for Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity.
