About Me

Karl Svendsen is a graduate of Radford University with degrees in both Criminal Justice and Accounting. Karl began his mortgage career in 2016 and quickly became a key player in the industry by providing borrowers full control of their mortgage options and finding creative ways to provide solutions to his clients. By combining in-house processing and underwriting with communication that is the best in the business, you will experience a one-of-a-kind mortgage process whether buying or refinancing. 

Karl is a Sales Manager working out of our Arlington, Virginia office. Karl’s previous mortgage experience has helped with training and development for Loan Officers and other team members. Karl brings unmatched passion and intensity to every transaction to achieve the best overall customer experience. 

In his free time, Karl loves playing basketball, watching sports (go Giants & Caps!), going snowboarding and visiting the local dog parks with his husky. Having lived in many different cities in Northern Virginia, Karl knows a lot about the DMV community and will be a trusted resource that will bring significant value on your home purchase or refinance!

With these types of loans, you have the option to put 20% down, which eliminates the need for private mortgage insurance (PMI) and saves you money. If you don’t have a large down payment saved up though, don’t worry. We have Conventional loan options for down payments as low as 3%.
