I am a Loan Officer at Guild Mortgage with a strong foundation in the mortgage industry and a deep connection to the Northern Virginia community. I began my career in 2021 as a Loan Partner for Team Silverstein, where I gained hands‑on experience with the full pre‑approval process and every stage of the loan lifecycle, from initial submission through closing. That background allowed me to transition smoothly into origination, bringing both technical knowledge and real operational experience to my clients.

Born and raised in Alexandria, I’ve had the privilege of watching this area grow and evolve. I’m a lifelong local — a St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes “lifer” and now an Old Town resident — which gives me a unique understanding of the neighborhoods, market dynamics, and community culture that shape the homebuying experience here.

My lending approach is deal‑oriented and strategy‑driven. I focus on understanding exactly what it takes to help clients win in this competitive market, whether that means structuring a stronger offer, identifying the right programs, or finding creative pathways to make financing work. Every buyer’s situation is different, and I pride myself on tailoring solutions that give them a real edge. Clear communication and responsiveness remain core to how I operate — but what truly sets me apart is my ability to think strategically and move quickly when it matters most.

I’m also fortunate to work alongside an exceptional team. Scott Silverstein, a fellow UVA graduate, remains a key mentor and resource for complex scenarios, bringing years of experience as a seasoned Loan Officer. James Fitzgerald — known as our team’s “loan rolodex” — is an invaluable expert on contract‑to‑close processes, ensuring every transaction stays aligned and on track. Their support strengthens the service I’m able to provide and ensures clients benefit from a full team of knowledgeable professionals.

Before entering the mortgage industry, I attended the University of Virginia, where I played on the UVA Club Ice Hockey team. Outside of lending, I stay active in the community — you can usually find me at F45 classes, golfing at Army Navy Country Club, or walking through Old Town, which has always been home for me. These routines keep me grounded, connected, and energized for the work I do every day.
