About Me

I am a Mortgage Loan Officer with Guild Mortgage. As a Mortgage Loan Officer, I focus my business on originating a varied portfolio of residential purchase mortgages and assisting clients with refinance mortgages. I pride myself on offering an attentive and caring service to my clients that has consistently been rated with five stars on Experience.com.
 
I am a member of Rotary and I volunteer my time to my local community in trying to help where I can. I have previously served in the area through being a member of the Keller Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. I make it a priority to know each of my clients, I want a ‘client for life’. Once you are a client of mine, you are also a friend that I care about not only through the transaction but also after.
 
I am married to my wife, Angela. I have three children and two grandchildren. Originally from Shreveport, Louisiana, I am as close to a native Texan as they will allow me to be after working and living in the DFW area for over 25 years. My first love will always be Louisiana and even as a graduate of Louisiana Tech University, you will likely find dressed in purple and gold exclaiming a greeting of “Geaux Tigers”!

A Conventional loan is a great option if you have an average to high credit score and little debt. This allows you to take advantage of lower interest rates. With these types of loans, you have the option to put 20% down, which eliminates the need for private mortgage insurance (PMI) and saves you money. If you’re looking to buy on a tight budget, these loans are a great option. It’s easier to qualify for FHA loans because they carry lower credit score requirements and lower down payment options starting at 3.5% down. They’re also insured by the Federal Housing Administration (FHA) and only issued by FHA-approved lenders.

I really enjoyed this home buying process with Chris as my loan officer. Chris would always give quick responses to questions my husband or I had no matter what time of day or evening it was. He provided updates every 2-3 days to ease the curiosity of what was happening each day. The closing was a quick process and we closed on time. Overall a great experience and would definitely recommend his services to family/friends.
