In addition, she has been an officer with the Women’s Council of REALTORS Southwest Dallas County for the past year and will be the upcoming Treasurer for Women’s Council of REALTORS Ellis County for 2018. When not working to finance her clients' homes, Laura enjoys spending time with family, traveling and spending time outdoors.

The Department maintains a recovery fund to make payments of certain actual out of pocket damages sustained by borrowers caused by acts of licensed residential mortgage loan originators. A written application for reimbursement from the recovery fund must be filed with and investigated by the Department prior to the payment of a claim.
