This is the second time I've used Kathy and her team at Guild. I'm a 30+ year executive at a major bank. Because Kathy and her team make the mortgage process so seamless, I prefer to use her instead of my bank. From taking title in the name of our family trust, working with key partners such as title and coordinating a remote closing, Kathy and her team made the process easy.
There were numerous title issues to overcome that kept delaying the funding and a number of closing dates. Mrs. Volkman and her team never let that frustration overshadowed completing the process. To the point of two days before finally closing, basically redoing the entire CD to fund the close. I thank them all for that diligence.

The Department maintains a recovery fund to make payments of certain actual out of pocket damages sustained by borrowers caused by acts of licensed residential mortgage loan originators. A written application for reimbursement from the recovery fund must be filed with and investigated by the Department prior to the payment of a claim.
