Owen Edwards

Being in the mortgage business since 2003, Owen's experience and vast product knowledge helps him pair you with a loan that fits your life. His mortgage education includes attaining the Residential Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) designation in 2013; and after graduating from MBAs School of Mortgage Banking in 2011, he received his Accredited Mortgage Professional (AMP) designation. Owen's a native of Columbia and graduated from The College of Charleston, so he's incredibly well-versed in the needs of South Carolina homebuyers. Whether it's financing for the first time home buyer, buying a vacation home, or finding a loan program for the real estate investor—Owen will make it happen.

Owen proudly served as the 2020 President of the Mortgage Bankers Association of the Carolinas (MBAC). He has been involved with MBAC since 2010 and took his first seat on the MBAC Board of Directors in 2013. 

He was named Mortgage Banker of the Year for 2009 & 2018 by the Sales & Marketing Council of the Home Builders Association of Greater Columbia, is a multi-year recipient of the Guild Mortgage Circle of Honor Award, and a 2020 & 2021 recipient of the Guild Mortgage Presidents Club Award.
