Jesse Barbaro

Jesse Barbaro is a Mortgage Loan Officer with Guild Mortgage serving homebuyers in Lexington, Columbia and communities throughout the South Carolina Midlands. In the mortgage industry since 2012 and licensed since 2015, Jesse is passionate about helping people achieve homeownership; especially first-time buyers navigating the process for the very first time.

With strong product and guideline knowledge, Jesse approaches lending with a coach's mindset. He takes time to understand each borrower's individual situation, find the financing option that makes sense for their goals and, most importantly, explain why it works. His experience spans a variety of financing options, including Conventional, FHA, Reverse Mortgage, DSCR and Bank Statement loans.

A former college baseball player, Jesse believes that what sometimes looks like luck is usually the result of consistently putting yourself in the right position. That mindset carries into his business, where genuine relationships, preparation and hard work have helped him build lasting connections with clients and referral partners.

Outside of mortgages, Jesse is a proud husband and dad of two boys who loves staying active and spending time with his family. Whether it's time with his wife and kids, cheering from the sidelines at a baseball game or getting out on the boat together, family is an important part of his life. You'll also often find Jesse on the pickleball court or at the gym. A former college baseball player and coach, he brings that same competitive spirit, consistency and team-first mindset to his work; building genuine relationships and helping his clients feel confident every step of the way.
