The Stancato Team is dedicated to making the loan origination process a pleasant experience for our customers and referral partners. We enjoy meeting our customers, learning what is important to them and their families, and structuring the transaction to fit their needs. Mathews “Fess” Stancato has been working is some aspect of mortgage lending since he was in high school, starting with his mother’s company, First Mortgage Home Loans.  He has been both a loan officer and a processor, and his knowledge of the details of the underwriting process means he can find a solution for almost any problem.  He specializes in first time homebuyers and entrepreneurs and is an expert at deriving income from complicated self-employed tax returns.  A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, Mathews is married to Amy Stancato.  Together they have 4 children.  Mathews has recently become the leader of The Stancato Team.  Mathews’ product knowledge, skill in structuring files and work ethic result in closed loans.   His creativity results in innovative marketing, successful co-marketing campaigns, and happy partners. 

Rose Stancato, Mathews’ mother, is a wealth of mortgage knowledge with over 40 years experience in the industry.  There is no one better to have on your side to get a tough loan to the finish line.  No matter what it is, she knows how to handle it. 

Jen Wisniewski is the team processor.  Another detail-oriented person and a pleasure to work with, Jen dots the I’s and crosses the t’s!  She works with our borrowers to present clean and complete files to underwriting, clear conditions and present to the closing department once the file is clear to close.
