Our long hunt began two years ago when I contacted Guild about buying a house. Tom reached out to me and started the loan application process that same day! He assured me that he'd guide me every step of the way and was there to help get us exactly what we were looking for, and we were definitely picky. We finally found one house exactly where we wanted to be, perfect yard, quaint scenery, and best of all it would be the monthly payment we were looking for. A week later we had to cancel our contract due to FHA regulations, we were struck pretty hard. Tom reassured us that just cause that house felt like the one doesn't mean we couldn't find something just like it or even better; he reminded us to keep our heads in the game and chins up. Fast forward to Dec 2023, we found a foreclosure that we hoped we could do a rehab loan on, everything looked promising! We had a few bumps in the road as the house had sat around a bit, and the bank selling the property didn't know much about the status/condition of the house. Due to the nature of the rehab loan there were a lot of hands in the cookie jar and communication was tough, yet Tom would call each person involved to make sure we are on the same page to keep the ball rolling. As Tom would say, "I'm your Sherpa, hold my belt and I'll carry you to the end.". And that's exactly what he did. Much appreciated man!

Right from the beginning Tom was fantastic. After inquiring about a mortgage, he sent me a message straight away to confirm a time to call. As a Brit I felt very unfamiliar with the process of purchasing a home in the US and Tom was exceptionally generous with his time walking me through everything I needed to understand. He got us an approved mortgage the very next day!
