Cameron Gilmore

I am an Albuquerque native, UNM alum and mortgage loan officer who grew up around the New Mexico real estate industry. Raised by real estate professionals, I learned early that buying a home is about much more than a transaction. It's about people, relationships and making confident financial decisions.

I have built my mortgage career helping homebuyers and homeowners throughout Albuquerque, across New Mexico and in Texas to understand their financing options and make informed decisions about one of the largest financial commitments of their lives. I work with everyone from first-time homebuyers who need guidance through every step of the process to experienced homeowners, investors and families looking to make their next move.

My approach to mortgage lending is education first. I believe a good loan officer should do more than provide numbers. My goal is to explain the options, costs and tradeoffs in plain language so my clients understand not only what they can qualify for, but what makes sense for their budget and long-term financial goals.

Because every homebuyer has a different story, I especially enjoy helping clients navigate situations that may require a little more problem-solving. Whether someone is buying their first home, moving up, downsizing, investing or simply trying to understand the mortgage process, my goal is to find a clear path forward and make the process as straightforward as possible.

Being from Albuquerque gives me a strong connection to the community and the local housing market I serve. I know the people who call New Mexico home and the importance of having a local mortgage professional who is available when questions come up. I also value the relationships I've built with local real estate professionals and other partners who help our clients throughout the homebuying process.

Above all, I want my clients to feel comfortable asking questions. Mortgages can be complicated, but understanding your options shouldn't be. My goal is to be a trusted mortgage resource for my clients before, during and long after closing.
