I am a loan officer in Jacksonville, North Carolina, specializing in VA, FHA, USDA, Conventional, and other home loans. I am a Marine Veteran and very proud to have served our country faithfully. I genuinely have enjoyed the relationships that have formed through my work as a loan officer.

Hi, I’m Megan Carter, an Originating Loan Officer Assistant with Team Goss in Jacksonville, NC. Growing up in a military family taught me adaptability, but Eastern North Carolina has truly become home. Before joining the mortgage industry, I worked as a Special Education Teacher and Compliance Coach with Onslow County Schools, where I gained a deep appreciation for patience, advocacy, and teamwork. I’m also active in our community through the JAYCEES, the Onslow County Fair Board, and Catalyst Church. Outside of work, I enjoy time on the water or traveling with my husband, Christian, and our daughter, Nora and we’re excited to welcome another baby girl soon! I look forward to helping families move forward and open the door to their new home.
