Hello! My name is Sheri Pexa, and I’ve been in the mortgage industry since 1998. I’m proud to serve as a Loan Officer with Guild Mortgage, where I’ve spent a combined 11 years helping clients navigate the home financing process with confidence and clarity.

My experience in this industry goes far beyond loan origination. I’ve owned and operated both a loan processing company and a mortgage company, and I’ve led operations teams and branch locations across Montana and South Dakota. This diverse background gives me a 360-degree understanding of the mortgage process, allowing me to anticipate challenges, structure complex loans, and deliver solutions that truly fit my clients’ needs.

I’m passionate about what I do. I’m a problem solver by nature and thrive on the analytical side of lending—I proudly consider myself a “guideline geek.” If I don’t have an immediate answer, I will find it by leveraging Guild Mortgage’s exceptional underwriting team and my trusted network of experienced industry professionals. My goal is always to provide clear options and the right strategy for each individual client.

My greatest achievement isn't measured by the number of loans I've closed—it's the trust my clients place in me. Many of my clients return years later when it's time to purchase their next home or refinance, and they confidently refer their family and friends. When I'm not working, you'll usually find me hiking and exploring new places, fishing, reading, traveling, or spending time with my grandchildren. I also have a passion for organizing—some might even call it an obsession!
