Doug Haldeman has over 18 years of mortgage origination and management experience. Doug spent the last 5 years overseeing the Cherry Creek Mortgage Branch in St. Louis before joining Guild Mortgage Company. Prior to that, he owned Infinity Mortgage for 10 years. Doug has served as a mortgage expert for NBC, Fox and various other local radio stations. The “Doug Haldeman Show” can be heard every Sunday at 4 P.M. on FM NewsTalk 97.1, serving as the real estate, finance, and credit resource for St. Louis since 2012.

Doug is passionate about helping clients form a debt strategy to minimize the amount of interst they pay on all debt. Doug and his team share Guild’s passion for helping clients achieve their dreams of homeownership.

In his free time, Doug enjoys weightlifting, boxing and yoga. He is also a professional juggler and an avid reader of books about business, economics, finance, sales, psychology, and spirituality.

Wow! I was nervous about going with a Mortgage company (I have family in the business and chose not to use them) and dealing with all that comes with it. We are first time home buyers so already the process was confusing, you felt ignorant, and overwhelmed. We were thinking about a different company originally, but we wanted to see if we would be able to do the first time home buyer credit (you are limited to certain companies). I called one company, they didnt answer, then I called Derek of Cornerstone Mortgage. I talked to him, he was able to get our pre-approval letter and what not done within minutes! so that was that. We continued our process of finding a home, then got the bid on the house of our dreams! Now, the house buying process started. When he sent me the Pre-approval letter, he also sent a list of documents needed to continue with the loan. I sent him those documents, then had questions about the process. Derek and Doug both answered all of our questions, explained the process in its entirety, were there just about whenever we needed them or had questions, the process was so easy, so fast, that I cannot be more happy with going with them! I will definitely recommend them to our friends and family and anyone else who is looking! If this review helps you, please please use Derek and Doug! I now understand the whole process and am not afraid to buy another house in the future!
