About Me

Megan grew up in Southwest Missouri and attended college at the University of Arkansas, graduating in 1993 with a B.S. in Communication.  She started in the mortgage industry in 1994.

Customer service is the thing that sets Megan apart and she has clients she has had for 20+ years.  Her business comes primarily from past clients and referrals from past clients and real estate agents.  Megan does all types of loans including conventional, FHA, USDA and VA.  She also has a special heart for first-time homebuyers and helping them get into their first home.

Megan and her husband have 4 children and enjoy travel, going to the lake, all types of sports event and especially concerts.  She supports the Down Syndrome Group of the Ozarks and serves on the board of EnCompass Academy in Springfield, MO.

A Conventional loan is a great option if you have an average to high credit score and little debt. This allows you to take advantage of lower interest rates. With these types of loans, you have the option to put 20% down, which eliminates the need for private mortgage insurance (PMI) and saves you money. If you don’t have a large down payment saved up though, don’t worry. We have Conventional loan options for down payments as low as 3%.

If you’re looking to buy on a tight budget, these loans are a great option. It’s easier to qualify for FHA loans because they carry lower credit score requirements and lower down payment options starting at 3.5% down. They’re also insured by the Federal Housing Administration (FHA) and only issued by FHA-approved lenders.
