About Me

If you're seeking a Loan Officer who genuinely cares about your financial well-being and is passionate about the Lake of the Ozarks, I'd love to help. After all, it's not just business for me, it's about ushering you through one of the most important purchases of your life. Let's navigate your financial journey together and shape a vibrant future for our fantastic community.

Hello there! I'm Alex Lowther. When I'm not wake surfing or golfing, I get to serve as a dedicated Loan Officer right here in the place that's always been home. I am lucky to have extensive local knowledge as I have spent almost twenty years of my life right here in the heart of Missouri.

Following in my father’s footsteps, I am second generation Loan Officer. The lessons learned from my dad, his wisdom, and his rich experience in finance and sales, are a part of my professional DNA. Each day, I bring these insights to work.

Before stepping into the financial world, I served as an Aviation Boatswain's Mate Equipment (ABE) aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln in the United States Navy. My service included a ten-month deployment to the North Arabian Sea, which was an intensive course in discipline, precision, and camaraderie—values that I carry into my work today.

After fulfilling my military duties, I was drawn back to the Lake. The combination of the discipline from my Navy days and the love for financial services, instilled by my father, drives me to provide tailored loan solutions to my neighbors, friends, and community.

Each day, my understanding of our unique local needs and my life experiences shape the way I work. My mission is simple yet powerful: contribute to our community's success in any way possible. Be it guiding a new family on their journey to purchase their first home, providing loan services to clients looking for a second home or an investment property, or simply offering informed advice that promotes future financial stability and home affordability.

Let’s find the right home loan for you

We have loan options to fit every situation, from down payment assistance programs for first-time homebuyers to government-sponsored programs for military families and rural residents or jumbo loans in high-cost markets.

Conventional

Conventional

A Conventional loan is a great option if you have an average to high credit score and little debt. This allows you to take advantage of lower interest rates. With these types of loans, you have the option to put 20% down, which eliminates the need for private mortgage insurance (PMI) and saves you money. If you don’t have a large down payment saved up though, don’t worry. We have Conventional loan options for down payments as low as 3%.
FHA

FHA

If you’re looking to buy on a tight budget, these loans are a great option. It’s easier to qualify for FHA loans because they carry lower credit score requirements and lower down payment options starting at 3.5% down. They’re also insured by the Federal Housing Administration (FHA) and only issued by FHA-approved lenders.
VA

VA

If you’re an active member of the military or a veteran, a VA loan can help you save money with no down payment and lower closing costs. VA loans also have lower interest rates, meaning you’ll save money over the life of your loan. A VA loan is a program created and guaranteed by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) specifically for eligible military veterans, service members and their spouses.

All loans are subject to underwriter approval; terms and conditions may apply. Subject to change without notice.
