About Me

Welcome to my page! I'm delighted to have you here. As a devoted husband and proud father of three, I find it amusing that my wife and I can't seem to agree on how long we've been married until we check the date etched into our wedding picture frame.  

I have a true passion for working with first-time home buyers and accompanying them on the seemingly overwhelming journey of homeownership. However, I assure you that with the right guidance, we can alleviate much of the associated stress together! 

Throughout my career, I've held various positions, but one that stands out is my tenure as a Director of Admissions for a local nursing school. It was during this time that I completed my education and unexpectedly found myself immersed in the world of finance. Initially, I had the impression that finance was filled with stuffy bankers in suits. Yet, I quickly realized that I could maintain a more relaxed approach and didn't have to conform to traditional thinking. Although lending has its fair share of rules, with a knowledgeable loan officer to steer and support you, we can make the process far easier than it may appear from the outside.

We have loan options to fit every situation, from down payment assistance programs for first-time homebuyers to government-sponsored programs for military families and rural residents or jumbo loans in high-cost markets.

Conventional

Conventional

A Conventional loan is a great option if you have an average to high credit score and little debt. This allows you to take advantage of lower interest rates. With these types of loans, you have the option to put 20% down, which eliminates the need for private mortgage insurance (PMI) and saves you money. If you don’t have a large down payment saved up though, don’t worry. We have Conventional loan options for down payments as low as 3%.

If you’re purchasing your first home, you have options to buy without saving a full down payment. Down payment assistance (DPA) programs can help with your down payment in the form of a loan or grant that is often forgiven over time.
FHA

FHA

If you’re looking to buy on a tight budget, these loans are a great option. It’s easier to qualify for FHA loans because they carry lower credit score requirements and lower down payment options starting at 3.5% down. They’re also insured by the Federal Housing Administration (FHA) and only issued by FHA-approved lenders.

I will preface my review by saying that I am skeptical of anyone who could gain something by telling me what I want to hear. Mike met this skepticism with such honesty and transparency that I immediately knew I could trust him. This was only my second mortgage so naturally I still had many questions, which Mike either answered immediately or he would find the information and get me the answer. He was extremely patient with me because, while everyones situation is unique, mine was probably not common. Despite my difficult situation, he kept working with me to figure out what income I needed and what debt needed to be taken care of so we could get the loan amount we wanted. We could've stopped at a point where we had a big down payment and be cool with it as we just wanted the house and we could afford the down payment but he kept communicating with me and working with me to get me the full loan amount. It's been a few months now and still if anyone is even thinking about looking at the housing market I immediately tell them I got a guy for them to talk to. Mike you were amazing, thank you for everything you did for us. ❤️ May your pillow always be cool, your KC BBQ always fresh out the smoker, and may you always insert a USB on the first try. Zillow give him a raise.
