About me
Mitch Willis was born on December 2nd, 1988, in Saint Charles, Missouri. Mitch was born as an identical twin (the younger twin) to his brother, Matthew Willis, and is the youngest of his parent’s four boys (David and Devon are his older brothers).
Mitch’s parents, Jeff and Twila Willis, moved to Saint Louis, just prior to his birth in 1988, and came from they’re long-time home of Blackwell, Oklahoma. Most of Mitch’s extended family still reside in Oklahoma and is the reason why Mitch is a Sooner fan!
Mitch’s childhood consisted of an even mix between school, football and playing with friends throughout the neighborhood. Mitch is a graduate of Francis Howell High School, and Class of 2012 Alumni to The University of Missouri (MIZZOU).
While attending college, between 2007 and 2010, Mitch had first-hand experience of the struggles friends and family members went through due to the housing crisis. It was due to this experience that Mitch decided to pursue a career in the mortgage industry in hopes of helping these families and to avoid such a crisis in the future.
Mitch earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a dual emphasis in Business Finance and Real Estate. With this education, Mitch began his professional career as an employee of Cornerstone Mortgage Inc. (now doing business as Guild Mortgage Company) and has since been a licensed loan officer and has closed loans with hundreds of consumers.
With Mitch’s role as an originator, he truly believes he will have a positive impact to the mortgage industry by providing his clients with the highest level of expertise, knowledge and guidance they deserve so that no one will have to experience the hardships like those from the past housing crisis.
