Jessica Barber

Jessica is a senior loan officer who has worked in the mortgage industry since 2012.

Helping first responders is a huge passion for Jessica since she is the wife of a police officer. She loves helping police officers, firemen, EMS, nurses, teachers and more to achieve their dream of homeownership. Jessica also really enjoys helping first time homebuyers and those working in new constructions. She has personal experience with building and going through the loan process with new construction. This experience gives Jessica the knowledge she needs to put her clients at ease during the process.

In Jessica’s own words, “I love helping a family buy their dream home, especially when they didn’t think it was possible.”

To Jessica, customer service is extremely important. At the end of the day, she wants her customers to not just be a client but a lifelong friend. She wants to help them in the beginning, throughout the process and keep in touch for years to come. Jessica gets great pleasure from helping them with a major life milestone and typically the biggest investment of their lives. She likes to stay in touch after closing, to keep her clients informed on any changes in their mortgage and hopefully earn their trust for referrals from their friends and family.

When she isn’t working, Jessica loves to travel and spend time with her two rescue dogs. She loves to help several local animal shelters through donations or volunteering each year. She also enjoys working for local nonprofits and participates in many fundraisers. Jessica is also V. President of the BackStoppers New Development board.
