About me
This past year has been a time of reflection, one that has allowed me to focus on the important things in my life: staying present in the moment, living my truth, and prioritizing my family.
My daughter, Gabriella, is a sophomore in high school and learning to drive. You realize the value of your life when riding in the passenger seat of a car being driven by an overzealous teenager. Gabriella is a straight-A student and was recently accepted into Cultural Leadership, a program "to develop a diverse group of youth into social justice changemakers who advocate for equitable and just practices." She also enjoys playing field hockey and running track. I may be a little biased, but Gabriella is going to be a changemaker.
My other daughter Leila is a boisterous 7th grader, who has an enviable amount of energy and enthusiasm for life. Drama, singing, and being on stage are her passions, which are extremely fitting for her personality. Leila can talk to anyone and immediately make them feel welcome. Leila is going to be an amazing leader.
My wife Amy and I celebrated our 16th wedding anniversary this year, an accomplishment I am extremely proud of. Every day I feel lucky to have such a strong, independent, kind, and insightful woman at my side. Not to mention, an amazing mother. Amy's background is in education and she is taking her skills, patience, and passion and applying them to work in social justice.

Meet the newest Loan Officer to the Shafman Group. Alex joined the Mortgage Industry after being in Real Estate for almost 8 years. Alex’s well-rounded knowledge of the market only strengths her ability to not only educate her clients on financial literacy but also helps develop those lifelong relationships. Alex will be assisting with both the transaction coordinator role as well as being a licensed loan officer. She is here to guide you through one of the most important purchases of your life!
