About me
I was born and raised in Mount Vernon, Illinois and have a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. After college, I moved to the St. Louis area, where I have built a successful mortgage career over the past 25 plus years.
I was a top-producing loan officer in the St. Louis area during my early mortgage career. I chose to leave the banks and work at Cornerstone Mortgage (now Guild Mortgage Company) over 10 years ago because it gave me the ability to have local processing, underwriting and closing teams that could meet the demands of my referral partners and clients every transaction.
Since buying a home is one of the most important decisions of a client's life, I want to make sure it is a very smooth and enjoyable process. At Guild, I have the ability to originate a large range of mortgage programs including CONVENTIONAL, FHA, VA, USDA, JUMBO as well as many niche products for first-time homebuyers.
I have been married to my wife Michelle for over 25 years. She is a head principal in the Mehlville School District and we are blessed to have two children, Alexis and Jacob. During my free time I enjoy playing golf, traveling, attending all of my kids events and spending quality time with my family.
