I'm Tyler Peters, a mortgage loan officer with Guild Mortgage, based in Prior Lake and serving homebuyers and homeowners throughout Minneapolis, St. Paul, and the greater Twin Cities area.

 

 

With 13 years of mortgage lending experience and approximately 1,500 clients helped, I've learned that there's rarely a one-size-fits-all approach to financing a home. Creative financing and problem-solving are a big part of what I do. In addition to conventional, FHA, VA, and jumbo loans, I work with borrowers whose situations may require a different approach. That includes self-employed borrowers exploring bank statement or profit-and-loss (P&L) mortgage programs, buyers purchasing non-warrantable condos, high-net-worth borrowers considering asset utilization loans, and real estate investors looking into debt service coverage ratio (DSCR) financing.
 

 

I'm also passionate about helping first-time homebuyers navigate the mortgage process, including low-down-payment options, Minnesota Housing down payment assistance programs, and strategies like seller concessions and mortgage rate buydowns that can help manage upfront costs and monthly payments.
 

 

Born and raised in Minnesota, I've called Minneapolis home since 2013. I understand the Twin Cities housing market and enjoy working closely with buyers, homeowners, and real estate agents to think through financing options, anticipate potential roadblocks, and find creative solutions when the path forward isn't immediately obvious.
