Kevin Sapp brings more than three decades of mortgage leadership to Guild Mortgage, with a career that began in 1992 and evolved from hands-on loan origination into high-level regional and district leadership. What started as an unconventional entry into the business quickly turned into a trajectory defined by initiative, adaptability, and results.

Over the years, Kevin has built and led high-performing teams across multiple organizations, including overseeing large territories spanning the eastern half of the United States and helping grow successful districts from the ground up. His early specialization in complex construction lending laid a strong technical foundation, but his true differentiator has been his ability to scale people; developing talent, building trust, and creating teams that perform consistently over decades.

Kevin's professional accomplishments include multiple Presidents Club honors and service on the Board of Directors for both the Home Builders Association and the Maryland Mortgage Bankers Association reflecting both industry recognition and deep community involvement.

Today, his focus is broader than any single loan product. Kevin specializes in recruiting and mentoring experienced loan officers who bring established referral networks and a team-first mindset. He is known for fostering a culture where collaboration, ethics, and long-term relationships matter more than short-term wins. His leadership style is rooted in accessibility; whether it's taking a call on a Sunday or guiding a team member through a complex deal, Kevin is committed to being present and supportive.

Outside of work, Kevin is a lifelong sports enthusiast who enjoys golf, cycling, and staying active. He spent nearly 25 years coaching youth basketball and lacrosse, an experience that continues to shape his leadership philosophy today. Family is central to his life; he's a proud father of three sons and a grandfather; and he rarely missed a game or milestone along the way.
