Richard Miller

Originally from Corning, New York, Richard Miller grew up playing lacrosse at Corning East High School before being recruited to the University of Delaware, where he earned his degree in business. After graduation, he moved to Baltimore, Maryland, and began his career in the financial industry with Loyola Savings Bank. There, he worked as a retail banker before transitioning into Commercial Lending and Financial Services.

In 1998, Richard relocated to the Delaware beaches with his wife and two daughters, an opportunity he considers one of the greatest blessings of his life. He continued building his career in commercial and residential construction financing, gaining extensive experience working with developers, contractors, and homeowners.

By 2000, Richard shifted exclusively into the residential lending industry, focusing on new construction and partnering directly with builders to help clients bring their homeownership dreams to life. In 2024, Richard joined Guild Mortgage, bringing his decades of lending expertise and deep understanding of the coastal market to a team that shares his commitment to exceptional client service.
