I use Terri Axelson because in the 7 years I've been an agent, I've never had a transaction fall apart. So I'm going to provide you an honest review on her so that you can understand why.
She was the first Lender we used, when I didn't know how to go about a transaction, she was there for me. And she was always ethical.
I will share something else, for a period of time I did not use her. We worked with another lender because Terri went to Regions for personal reasons, and I can't blame her for that. We all have needs that need to be met, and that the time, Regions did that for her.
We worked with another lender, who was great. This person performed the task that they were assigned to do and they did it flawlessly...but there was a caveat: They predominantly worked with files that were relatively easy. And although this lender may certainly say that some weren't, they were easy to me based on the clientele that I brought. And that's a fair statement.
Terri has worked with buyers where it has taken years to get them to the closing table, even when the loan was below $100,000. That shows determination and due care for someone else, even though it did not always benefitted her financially.
After Terri made the switch to Guild Mortgage, she has received every single one of my Buyers, and she has closed every single transaction to raving reviews from the Buyers.
Because of her extensive experience working (and developing) non-profit organizations, she knows extremely well the inside an out's of every single loan product, especially those that involve government grants. This is her forté due to her extensive knowledge on everything mortgage AND government grants.
So although I believe that you as a Realtor have a good relationship with your lender, you should be primarily focused on what benefits your lender brings to the Buyer, and in return, to your brand
If your not using Terri, I believe in my heart that your clients are missing out, and in return, you too.
P.s: Terri actually shows up to our closings and celebrates my client's successes as much as we do.
