Alison Calamia

In 1991, Alison had the privilege of being the first person to bring Reverse Mortgage products to Louisiana while working with a Lender out of Levittown, NY. With 30+ years of experience in the industry, Alison has worked on both the retail side of the business, originating Reverse Mortgages and in the wholesale side of the business, as a National Account Executive for some of the largest Reverse Mortgage wholesale investors. Alison spent many years educating and managing Reverse Mortgage Brokers and Mortgage Lenders throughout the country. Her experience also includes managing the Reverse Mortgage servicing division of New Orleans based, Standard Mortgage Corporation.  Alison has worked in virtually every aspect of the Reverse Mortgage business and brings the most extensive reverse mortgage background in the state to each in every client she serves.
While Alison’s primary territory is the Greater New Orleans area, she covers the entire state and is licensed in MS, AR and TX as well.

In 2016, Alison achieved the status of being a Certified Reverse Mortgage Professional (CRMP).  She earned the designation after passing a rigorous exam and background check, thereby demonstrating a competency in reverse mortgages and a dedication to uphold the highest ethical and professional standards in the industry. 

Alison serves on the National Reverse Mortgage Lenders Assoc (NRMLA) education committee and teaches NMLS continuing education through NRMLA. Additionally, she is approved to teach a CE course on Reverse Mortgages with the New Orleans Metropolitan Association of Realtors (NOMAR).

Alison is a native New Orleanian, married to Carl and has two children and two grandchildren.
