Rick Rangel

I graduated high school from Wichita North High leaving straight to the US Army to serve 21 years before retiring. During my time in service, I earned my Expert Infantry Badge, Air Assault, and Airborne wings. During my service, I earned multiple awards and was deployed to Iraq twice, and Afghanistan receiving my Combat Action Badge and even a few more awards. Through those years of service, I met my wife Sherri Rangel, our Branch Manager, had 2 kids Dani and Zach, and multiple Jeeps. Upon retiring, I utilized my benefits to obtain my bachelor’s and master’s degree in Social Work from Wichita State University. My internships were at a horse ranch working through equine therapy and the Robert J Dole VA where I would end up working as a Licensed Master Social Worker for several years. In 2001, I transitioned into mortgage origination which has allowed us to not only work together but reignited the passion to travel all over the world to find new and exciting places.
