Fernando Lopez

Fernando J. Lopez was born in Caguas, Puerto Rico, and raised as a proud military family. His upbringing took him across several states, spending his elementary and middle school years in Hinesville, Georgia, and later graduating from high school in Lawton, Oklahoma. After graduation, Fernando followed in his family’s footsteps of service by joining the United States Army, where he honorably served for six years. Following his military career, he returned to the Savannah, Georgia area—a community he has called home for over two decades. With more than 15 years of experience in the mortgage industry, Fernando began his career as a loan processor, later advancing to Loan Officer Assistant, and now proudly serves as a Loan Officer with Guild Mortgage. For nearly two years in this role, he has dedicated himself to helping individuals and families achieve the dream of homeownership. Fernando’s specialties include VA Loans and Georgia Dream Loans, reflecting both his commitment to serving veterans and his passion for guiding first-time homebuyers through the lending process. Beyond his professional life, Fernando is happily married to Ashley Lopez, and together they have four children. His eldest proudly joined the U.S. Air Force in 2024, continuing the family’s tradition of service. Fernando finds true fulfillment in helping others reach their goals—one home at a time.
