I’m Greg Mattern of Team Mattern. Team Mattern has an unwavering commitment to service, both to our borrowers and our partners. Since 2013 The Mattern Team has built our business around very simple practices: consistent communication, exceptional service, clear expectations and (of course) closing on time. With many years as a licensed mortgage professional, we have seen the full cycle of economic trends, and take very seriously our role as a trusted advisor to help you plan for all eventualities with the utmost professionalism and integrity.

Our in-house processing, underwriting and closing continue to be an advantage in the market, allowing us to respond and act quickly, ultimately keeping the customer service experience positive and fun. We are also a direct lender to FNMA and FHLMC, with the ability to offer correspondent and broker channels for more complex and unique situations. We offer a wide range of financing options at Guild including Conventional, VA, FHA, USDA, JUMBO and Manufactured Home financing options. I personally specialize in helping first time buyers that may be seeking down payment assistance options, self-employed borrowers and divorcing clients.

The home buying process can be challenging if you don’t have the right team behind you. My team and I take the worry out of the process so you can enjoy preparing for owning your dream home.

In my spare time, I love spending time with my wife, our 3 grown children and 3 Grandchildren. My wife, Denise Mattern, and I also enjoy traveling and hiking with our 2 Bernadoodles, Ollie and Cooper and entertaining friends and family as often as possible. My family is my top priority in life, they motivate me to be a better man, father and human being. They are the “why” that drives me each and every day. Also, I have been blessed both personally and professionally in my life and feel a strong commitment to my communities. I spend much of my free time with several international charities both on the local and larger scale.
