I’m Chris Lien, a mortgage lender with over 20 years of experience helping individuals and families in Colorado, Minnesota and Wyoming feel confident and informed throughout the home loan process. I take a patient, straightforward approach, because I believe mortgage decisions aren’t something to rush. The best outcomes come from listening carefully, answering questions honestly, and making sure people feel comfortable every step of the way.

I grew up in Minnesota, where I learned the value of hard work, integrity, and treating people the right way. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, where I also played collegiate baseball and minored in Office Administration and Entrepreneurship. During that time, I earned my private pilot’s license, an experience that reinforced the importance of preparation, focus, and clear decision‑making, values I bring into my work today.

Throughout my career, I’ve helped clients explore their home‑buying options and refinance in ways that truly fit their goals. I take the time to understand what matters most to each client, explain choices in plain language, and stay connected long after closing. That approach has allowed me to build a strong base of repeat clients and referral partners and steadily grow my Colorado and Minnesota home loan business year after year.

Outside of work, I enjoy sports, travel, and spending time with my family. I once spent six weeks traveling across Europe, and today I enjoy quieter moments at the lake, trips back to Minnesota, and traveling to warmer destinations with my family. My wife, Candace, and I are raising our son and daughter in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, and family remains at the center of everything I do.

For me, the most rewarding part of my work happens at the closing table, when clients say thank you because they’re moving into a home they love or refinancing in a way that brings real monthly savings. Those moments remind me why I do what I do. I believe trust is earned through consistency, honesty, and genuine care, and I’m committed every day to helping people open new doors with confidence.
