When Robbie and I first started looking for homes we were working with a different lender and with that lender things were not going very well. It was our first home so we knew zero about buying a home. Our previous lender spoke to us only by phone, text or email. He never invited us to his office to go over any of the paperwork we didn’t understand. He was condescending, rude and treated us like we were less than. He told us that the CHAFA loan wouldn’t work for us. With all that being said we felt stressed working with him and he gave us the impression that buying a home is anything but a happy experience.
